Seed potatoes

First Earlies: Plant first early potatoes between the end of February and late May. They'll be ready for harvest in around ten weeks from planting.

Second Earlies: Plant second early potatoes from March to late May, and small, new potatoes will be ready to harvest in around 13 weeks.

Maincrop: Grow maincrop potatoes in the ground for best results, as they'll have more space. Maincrop varieties tend to produce larger spuds for baking and roasting.

Only 10 days from laying this turf and it really needed it's first trim, think Wembley would be proud. Thanks to Plevey's garden centre in Doncaster for supplying 1st class turf from the Isle of Axholme and the very best advice for successfully laying it. Think the weather had something to do with it too 😄.

I stepped into the unknown world of gas bottles and refills this week. Pleveys staff spent time with me and cut through the popular stories/myths with accurate and helpful up to date information and got my first bottle from them, thank you! Had 1t of topsoil delivered by Pleveys today and absolute banging quality. Good as compost.Delivery and communication was also spot on with this delivery.Absolutely delighted after first time using them.Will definitely use again.
